Armenia: Professionals for Civil Society
The Professionals for Civil Society NGO is an Armenian non-governmental organization that was founded in December 2004. The PFCS mission is to support establishing and strengthening of democratic institutions in Armenia through the development of civil society. The PFCS plans to achieve this mission through the following activities: providing assistance to Armenian NGOs in enhancing their capacity; improving the legal framework affecting civil society; promoting the role of NGOs in society; building and developing partnerships between NGOs.

Azerbaijan: National NGO Forum
The National NGO Forum of Azerbaijan is the biggest coalition of NGOs in the Republic of Azerbaijan. It contributes to NGOs capacity-building, establishing cooperation links between the NGOs and the Government, national and international donors and promoting an enabling environment for the Azerbaijani NGOs in order to grow and develop. The National NGO Forum worked on several proposals to change the legislative framework affecting NGOs, provided comments and analyses of the current legislature affecting freedom of association in Azerbaijan.

Georgia: Civil Society Institute (CSI)
Civil Society Institute is one of the leading NGOs in Georgia that was established in 1995. CSI facilitates the formation and development of civil society and democratic state by promoting democratic values and rule of law, educating social actors and increasing their civic activity, and creating an enabling legal environment for civil society organizations. CSI activities focus on support of economic development and reducing poverty; raising legal awareness and establishment of respect to law; support of good governance practices, including development of local governments and decentralization of power; elaboration of effective public policy and improvement of administration; increase of civic activity; advocating citizens' interests; development of civil society organizations; and support of educational reform.

Moldova: Eco-TIRAS
Eco-TIRAS is an International Environmental Association of River Keepers based in Moldova. One of Eco-TIRAS work areas is improving the not-for-profit legislation and contributing to the NGOs capacity-building. Among other activities in the past years Eco-TIRAS worked on preparing legal provisions for ensuring public participation in legislative processes on national and local levels, introducing the notion of public benefit organization into the Moldovan legislature and developing and strengthening capacity of the NGOs in the Transnistrian region.

The Open Estonia Foundation in cooperation with ECNL is organising a conference “Growing accountable – conference on accountability and transparency in grant-giving relations” taking place on the 20th of May in Tallinn, Estonia. The conference is funded by EEA Grants and organized for strengthening cooperation of and supporting mutual learning between fund operators.
