If you have not found what you were looking for on this website, or you need information more tailored to your specific needs, please let us know.

We provide a wide range of services to NGOs, governmental, business and academic partners who need assistance in addressing a variety of civil society law issues.

Here are some of the most common requests and inquiries we receive:

  • We would like to register an international organization in Europe. Where should we register? What is the most appropriate organizational form?
  • We need information on the local legislation affecting NGOs in [country]. Where do we find that?
  • We would like to use the services of a reliable lawyer to help us establish an NGO in [country]. Can you recommend someone?
  • We would like to have a comparative picture of the laws affecting [social contracting] in Europe. Can you do such research?
  • We would like to develop a governmental strategy regarding funding for the NGO sector in [country]. How can you assist us?
  • We would like to have an in-depth analysis of the laws affecting economic activities of NGOs in [country]. Can you help us with that?
If you have a question similar to the above, we can help you too!

Please write us an email with your question or request to use our services.

Just Released! UNV Report: Laws and Policies Affecting Volunteerism Since 2001
UN Volunteers just published a global research study on trends and lessons in the development of supportive volunteerism policies and legislation developed by ICNL and ECNL. An overall review was conducted in 7 regions, complemented by country-specific case studies. The study analyzes considerations in drafting and implementing volunteerism laws and policies, and highlights the need to tailor them to specific local, national, and regional contexts. Since the International Year of Volunteers (IYV) in 2001, governments, the UN system, civil society partners, and other stakeholders have increasingly recognized that volunteerism makes significant contributions to peace and development.
